9. Add a new layer and name it white.
10. Selections
- Load from Disk - white.sel.
11. Flood fill with white.
12. Apply the same blinds as you did for the main part of the
flag (both settings).
13. Apply an inner bevel using these settings.
Then deselect.
14. Add a new layer and name it red.
15. Selections
- load from disk - red.sel
16. Flood fill with red #FB0200.
17. Apply the same blinds and inner bevel as for white.sel
18. Add a new layer and name it stars.
19. Selections - load from disk - stars.sel
20. Flood fill with white.
21. Apply the same blinds and
inner bevel except change the width of bevel to 10 then deselect.
22. Add a new layer and name it stitches.
23. Change your foreground color to gray #C3C3C3 and select your drawing tool using these settings:
23. Zoom in real close so you can see what you are doing, and making short strokes around the inner bevel
lines on
the blue part of the image so it looks like stitching...something like this:
24. Once you are finished making your stitch lines around the outer edge of the flag, add a drop shadow
to the
stitch lines using these settings:
25. Turn off layer 1 then Layers - Merge -
Visible and resize by 75% with resize all layers UNCHECKED. Move the image down on the canvas.
