Pumpkin Patch
Created 9/2/01, with an emphasis on using the Bezier Curve Drawing Tool.

Now that we've had our bezier curve workout, we're ready to finish our pumpkins!
27. Make sure if you have placed each curve on a separate layer that you turn off the stem and pumpkin layer and after making one of your bezier curve layers active that you go Layers - Merge - Visible.
28. Make sure you have your bezier curve layer active then go Selections - Load from Disk - JCD_pumpkin.sel
29. Effects - Blur - Gaussian Blur using these settings:

30. Do Not Deselect yet! Turn on pumpkin layer and merge - visible with the bezier curve layers. If you would like to add noise to your pumpkin, use the same settings as you did for the stem.
31. Do Not Deselet yet! Selections - Float.
32. Apply a cutout using these settings:

Add another cutout only this time change the vertical to -5 (minus 5)
and the horizontal to -7 (minus 7). Do Not Deselect Yet!
33. Add an inner bevel using these settings:

Now you may deselect.
34. We're almost done, all we need to do is add a bit of curly vines coming out of the stem on our pumpkin. Add a new layer and name it "Vines".
35. Set your foreground color to the green or #556B55. Turn off the background color. Select your drawing tool using
these settings:

36. Draw in two or three curly vines, then apply the inner bevel preset of Metallic. You will notice it is a bit bright, but we'll fix that right away.
37. Colors - Adjust Brightness/Contrast using these settings:

You are all done! Congratulations! You survived the Bezier Curve workout!
You should have something that looks like this:
