Barn Windows
11. Add a new layer.
12. Selections
- load from disk - sides windows.sel
13. Flood fill with a tan or yellow
color of your choice. I used #E9D7AF. Deselect.
14. Add a new
layer.
15. Selections - load from disk - windows
crosshairs.sel
16. Flood fill with white.
17. Select Air Brush,
color #A98B65 with the following settings. Do not hold down your mouse
continuously,
but rather click the mouse one or two times. Do not deselect
yet.
18. With the image still selected, apply a drop shadow using these settings:
19. Repeat drop shadow except change the Horizontal & Vertical settings
to -1, then deselect.
20. Add a new layer.
21. Selections - load
from disk - side frame.sel
22. Repeat steps 16-19.
23. Add a new
layer.
24. Selections - load from disk - top & bottom
frames.sel
25. Repeat steps 16-19.
26. Turn off layer 1, Barn
Sides and Layer 2. Merge - visible layers 3, 4, 5.
Your Layers screen should look like this before you merge -
visible.
Rename the merged layer Left Window.
27. With Left Window layer active, Layers - Duplicate.
28. Image -
mirror.
29. Resize 80%. Make sure resize all layers is
UNCHECKED.
30. Image - sharpen one time.
31. Move window frame
over the right window. Rename this layer Right Window.
Your image should look something like this...
