55. Add a new layer.
56. Selections
- Load From Disk - heart.sel. You are welcome to make your own heart or use your
favorite heart ding.
57. Flood fill with same red.
58. Apply
same blinds as before.
59. Add an inner bevel using these settings.
60. Now we are going to add yet another inner bevel as below then deselect.
61. This flag looks rather plain so we are
going to add some stitching to it. Add a new layer.
62. Select the
drawing tool with the following settings and the color #E9D7AF.
63. Zoom in by 1 so you can see what you
are doing and start drawing "stitches" around that inner bevel
line. Don't
worry about perfection, we're going for that hand stitched look here.
You should have something that
looks like this
when you are done.
64. Staying on the same layer, do the same thing to the heart. Something like this:
65. Now you can finish the stitching around
the rest of that little blue square
like this:
66. Make sure the stitching layer is active
and we are going to add a slight drop shadow
so it makes those stitches stand
out a bit.
